RTD offers improved trip times on E and H lines beginning Saturday as maintenance work is paused until 2024

RTD made significant progress this year on scheduled maintenance along light rail lines south of I-25•Broadway Station in Denver. With the onset of cooler weather, the coping panel project will pause until 2024.

Beginning Saturday, Oct. 14, E and H line schedules will be adapted to account for contractor equipment no longer operating on the light rail tracks, eliminating the need for single-tracking around work areas. Service performance on the E and H lines will improve and end-to-end trip times will be reduced by up to 20 minutes.

Some E, H and R line trips will be canceled at the end of the service day on Friday and the beginning of the service day on Saturday to accommodate relocation of contractor’s equipment from the guideway. Note that these cancelations include the last trips out of downtown Denver on Friday night.
